At Rural Gates Australia, we deliver custom gates and accessories across Queensland and throughout Australia. As our products are often large, heavy, and made to order, we take great care in managing freight and delivery to ensure your order arrives safely.
We offer the following delivery methods:

1. Local Delivery (within 150kms of Bundaberg)
We personally deliver orders within a limited radius of our workshop in Alloway, Bundaberg. Delivery fees are based on distance and will be quoted upon request.

2. Freight Australia-Wide
For customers outside our local delivery zone, we partner with trusted third-party freight carriers. Freight is quoted separately based on:

Size and weight of your gate(s)

Delivery location
-
Accessibility of your property (e.g. remote/rural access, forklift availability)
We will always source the most cost-effective option available at the time of your order.

Shipping Timframes
Shipping times vary depending on your location and the freight provider. Once your gate is complete and ready to ship, you’ll be notified. While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, Rural Gates Australia is not liable for delays once the product has left our premises.
Typical turnaround:

Custom gate production: 1–4 weeks

Delivery (after dispatch): 2–10 business days depending on location

Receiving Your Order
Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery at the nominated address. If no one is available, redelivery fees may apply.
It is the customer’s responsibility to:

Provide accurate delivery instructions and contact details

Advise of any access restrictions (e.g. narrow roads, no forklift) at the time of ordering

Inspect goods on arrival and notify us of any visible damage within 48 hours

Shipping Limitations
Due to the size and weight of our gates:

We are unable to ship to PO Boxes

Remote area deliveries may incur higher charges or longer delivery times

Some freight depots may require collection if home delivery isn’t feasible

Damaged Goods in Transit
If your order arrives with visible freight damage, please:

Take clear photographs of the damage and packaging

Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the goods

Retain all packaging materials until the issue is resolved
We will work with you and the freight carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
